The astronauts Nie Haisheng, Liu Boming and Tang Hongbo who carried out the mission left the module safely and smoothly, in good health, and the first manned mission at the space station stage was a complete success. This is the first time that the Dongfeng landing site has carried out the search and recovery mission of manned spacecraft.
Shenzhou 12 manned spacecraft was launched from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on June 17, and then docked with Tianhe core module to form a combination. Three astronauts entered the core module for a three-month stay. During the in orbit flight, they carried out two astronaut extravehicular activities, carried out a series of space science experiments and technical tests, and verified the long-term presence of astronauts in orbit Key technologies for the construction and operation of the space station, such as regenerative life support, space material supply, out of cabin activities, extravehicular operation, on orbit maintenance, etc. The successful manned mission of Shenzhou 12 has laid a more solid foundation for the construction and operation of the follow-up space station.
