According to the website of the General Administration of Customs, cross-border e-commerce is growing rapidly. In 2020, 2.45 billion import and export lists has been approved through the cross-border e-commerce management platform of customs, with a annual growth of 63.3% comparing with the year before. Data shows that China (Hangzhou) Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zone (Xiasha Industrial Zone), as the largest cross-border e-commerce park in China and the most complete commodity categories, has 46 million pieces of 11.11 in stock in 2020, an increase of 11%. At the same time, the 11.11 commodities in the park are more abundant than in previous years, and the sources are from all over mainly Japan, South Korea, Germany and other countries and regions. In addition, more than 70% of the domestic cross-border e-commerce channels export are sold to all over the world through the Pearl River Delta region of Guangdong, and Guangdong’s cross-border e-commerce is mainly export-oriented instead of imports.
In addition, in the first three quarters of 2020, China import and export cross-border e-commerce management platforms has reached 187.39 billion RMB, which has achieved a rapid annual growth of 52.8% comparing to the figures of the same time period in 2019.
As cross-border e-commerce has become more and more development and better matured mode, also appearing along certain related accessory industries, it does supply the Chinese cross-border businesses with more opportunities.
